This is a Request for Invitation to the Governor’s Cup International Youth Match Racing Championship, not a registration for the championship itself. You will be asked to write briefly about your experience racing on a 3-4 person keelboat. Please provide your top three match racing and other racing accomplishments over the last two years.

The deadline for receipt by the Balboa Yacht Club Governor’s Cup Selection Committee is 1700 hours on Saturday, April 7, 2023. Selected skippers will be notified by Friday, April 21, 2023. The Committee may designate alternate selections that may ultimately receive an invitation in the event one of the invited skippers cannot attend.

For the NOR, selection criteria and additional information, go to www.govcupracing.com and click on “Race Documents”. The Governor’s Cup is an age limited regatta. No skipper or crew may have reached his or her 23rd birthday by the last day of the regatta, July 29, 2023.
