Augusta Sailing Club Waiver and Release:

A. RULES AND REGULATIONS:
I hereby agree to abide by the rules, regulations, and safety policies of the Augusta Sailing Club, including any and all COVID-19 related safety measures.

B. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK: I understand that sailing is a water sport and therefore subject to hazards and injuries pertaining to but not limited to elements of weather, water, and boating. I fully understand that participation in camp and other events at Augusta Sailing Club involve risks and dangers including, without limitation, damage to personal property, serious bodily injury, illness (including communicable diseases such as Covid-19), trauma, pain and suffering, paralysis, permanent disability, and death; exposure to extreme conditions and circumstances; accidents involving other participants, staff, volunteers, or spectators; contact or collision with other participants, staff, or natural or man-made objects; adverse weather conditions; facility issues; premise conditions; failure of protective equipment; inadequate safety measures; participants of varying skill levels; situations beyond the immediate control of Augusta Sailing Club's organizers, instructors, management, and volunteers; and other undefined, not readily foreseeable and presently unknown risks and danger.

C.ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Despite the potential hazards and dangers as mentioned above, I voluntarily agree for registrant to participate in all aspects of Augusta Sailing Club's sail camp, including but not limited to sailing, swimming, team sports, outdoor games, hiking, running, climbing, and other camp related activities; and hereby accept and assume all such risks, known and unknown, and assume all responsibility for the losses, costs, and/or damages following such injury, disability, paralysis, or death, even if caused, in whole or part, by negligence of Augusta Sailing Club.

D. RELEASE AND INDEMNITY: I hereby agree to release, waive, discharge, and relinquish Augusta Sailing Club, its officers, directors, employees, representatives, instructors, and volunteers from liability and responsibility, whatsoever, for any claim of action that I, my estate, heirs, executors or assigns may have for any personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising from participation in such event and/or instruction whether caused by active or passive negligence of Augusta Sailing Club. I, the minor’s parent and/or legal guardian, understand the nature of boating activities and the minor’s experience and capabilities and believe the minor to be qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such activity.

F. US SAILING: Some of the classes in Augusta Sailing Club's Summer Sail Camp may include the use of US Sailing's Skill Up APP. I acknowledge that certain personal information might be shared with US Sailing, including registrant and parent name, gender, DOB, address, contact email, and phone number. At no time will any financial information be shared with US Sailing, and US Sailing will not share any personal information it receives with third parties.

E. PHOTO RELEASE: I also authorize Augusta Sailing Club the use of photos and videos of the registrant, as well as myself and my guests on Augusta Sailing Club premises, for promotional purposes.

By clicking the "Agree" button below, I, the parent or legal guardian of the registrant listed above, hereby accept and agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement in connection with the registrants' participation in any Augusta Sailing Club event.
