I hereby acknowledge that I carry $2,000,000 liability insurance, that I have read the rules and regulations for these events, and be bound by them. In consideration of acceptance of this registration, I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Kelowna Yacht Club, its organizers and their representative agents, officials, servants and representatives against all claims, actions, costs, expenses, and demands in respect to death, injury, loss, or damage to my person or property, howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my taking part in these events notwithstanding that the same may have contributed to or caused or occasioned by the negligence of same bodies, or any of their agents, officials, servants or representatives. I further understand and agree that this release is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns.
I hereby acknowledge that I have read the rules and regulations and the Covid 19 safety plan. I acknowledge and understand the following: (1) Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; (2) I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties.
