Welcome to the 2026 Adult Learn to Sail Program at Riverton Yacht Club.  RYC is offering three Session of sailing classes this season across three different level groups.  Mondays will be Beginner level classes, Tuesdays will be a hybrid of Beginner and Advanced classes and Wednesdays will be Advanced level classes.
 
Beginner level classes will include topics that will introduce the students to sailing, rigging, derigging, sailing manuvers, right of way, and much more.  Advances classes will review Beginner level concepts and introduce the students to sailboat racing.  These skills are intented to foster a greater interest in sailing whether your intent is to engage in a new experience or hone your sailing skills for future sailing adventures.
 
Our training boats are J-22 keel boats.  We expect to have two or three students along with a qualified instructor on each boat.  The boats are well maintained and equipped.
