  • We will be incorporating paddling into all of our Adventure Sailing Camps this summer, as well as adding an optional add-on two-day Boater Safety class and a 4 day Spirit of America Boater Education Class
  • The two-day Boater Safety Class is intended to be an optional add-on class for those registered in Adventure Sailing. In order to register for the two-day class, one must also register for a week of Adventure Sailing. This two-day class will teach the Georgia DNR Boater Safety Course, allowing students to earn their state boater certification. Days will consist of the DNR workbook and the GA DNR State test, followed by on-the-water lessons. Students will learn how to launch, maintain, and safely operate a small powerboat.
  • An alternative would be the Spirit of America Class, which includes the same curriculum from the two-day boater safety class plus teaches sailing on Hunter 15s, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding. This class is another option for students to be able to earn their GA Safe Boater Certification and their Spirit of America Certification. Those enrolling in the Spirit of America Class should not register for the Boater Safety Class. This camp is very different from Adventure Sailing and is a great opportunity for those seeking additional camps.
  • 20% discount on week-long camps for ASC members (make sure to add member # on registration page)
  • 5% discount if registering for multiple weeks of camp (not including the 2-day Boater Safety Class)
  • Make sure to register soon as classes will increase by $25 on April 1, 2026.
  • One sail camp shirt per sailor. Availability only guaranteed if registered before May 1st.
  • All half day camps require completing Adventure Sailing first and permission from the Camp Coordinator. Please email sailcamp@augustasailingclub.org for permission.
  • A Refund is available, minus a $25 non-refundable cancellation charge, up until 14 days prior to start of registered camp session.
