By registering for this event, I acknowledge that sailing, including offshore racing and coach boat operations, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to capsize, collision, weather exposure, equipment failure, injury, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
On behalf of myself and/or my minor child, I release and hold harmless Palm Beach Sailing Club, the Youth Sailing Foundation of the Palm Beaches, the organizing authority, race committee, sponsors, coaches, volunteers, safety boat operators, and all affiliated parties from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this event.
I certify that the participant is able to swim, is physically capable of participating, and will wear a US Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device at all times while on the water. I agree to comply with all event rules, safety requirements, and instructions from event officials.
I understand that emergency medical care may be provided if necessary and consent to such care.
For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept this waiver and agrees to the above on behalf of the minor.
