The
NOR sections identified below are deleted from the original document and replaced with the following new language:
9. PENALTY SYSTEM
A boat may elect either the Two-Turns penalty RRS 44.1 or the Scoring Penalty RRS 44.3.
The penalty for 44.3 will be two places.
10A. SCORING FOR
WEDNESDAY BEERCAN SERIES
Scoring will be the
time on distance method.
The Low Point Scoring System of
Appendix A will apply with the following modification: There will be a separate
series for each month. At least eight races are scheduled for each month, four
of which must be completed to constitute a series.
If a boat completes 5
races in a monthly series, the boat's worst score will be excluded from her
series score. This modifies RRS Appendix A2.
The Fleet will be
divided into two classes: Class A Spinnaker and Class
B Non-spinnaker.
