Junior Olympic Sailing Festival - Ohio : Mentor Harbor Yachting Club

About Event

Mentor Harbor Yachting Club is proud to host our second annual USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival and Skill Builder Clinic for junior sailors and coaches in Opti, Laser, c420 and Thistle fleets. It's the only JO between Detroit and Rochester, and a great way to kick off your summer racing season! Save money and register by June 1. (Late fees apply to late registrations).

MHYC's Skill Builder Clinic and Junior Olympics Sailing Festival is part of a nationwide series of sailing regattas for youth ages 8 to 18 with the goal to encourage young sailors to enjoy sailing and to develop their skill. Events mix Olympic-style competition with elements of learning and fun for all levels--from beginning racers to those with Olympic aspirations. Junior Olympic Sailing is coordinated by US Sailing and sponsored nationally by Gill, Sperry, and New England Ropes. Locally, we are grateful for the support of Sailing Inc's Quantum Sail Loft, Mentor Harbor Youth Sailing Association, and our numerous volunteer members and friends!
