RACE DAY SCHEDULE: YSF is located at the Vero Beach Water Treatment Plant, located just south of the 17th Street Bridge on Indian River Blvd. YSF Regatta signs will be posted at the gate. The registration desk opens at 0830 and closes at 0925. Registration will be at the YSF office. You will see signs and/or personnel directing you to registration upon entering the gate. STOP AND CHECK IN. STOP! STOP! ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK-IN BEFORE PROCEDING TO THE LAUNCH AREA! At the registration desk participants will confirm registration, sign required waivers and receive T-shirts and snack packs. The general skippers meeting will be held at the launch area at 0930 for all racers. Separate Optimist, 420 and Open Class skippers meetings will be held immediately following the general meeting. Racing is expected to start at 1030. Final schedules will announced at the skippers meeting. NOTE-OPTIMISTS WILL NOT LAUNCH UNTIL 420 AND OPEN BOATS HAVE CLEARED THE LAUNCH AREA. SKIPPERS STAND BY FOR INSTRUCTIONS. Racing will be on three separate courses: OPTIMIST-South of the 17th Street Bridge and west of the ICW, near launch area. 420-South of the 17th Street Bridge and east of the ICW to Hell's Island. OPEN-South of the 17th Street Bridge and west of ICW marker R"146A" to R"152" There are no planned shore breaks after racing begins. Lunch will follow the final race on all courses.
