Calling all One Design Fleets! The Sarasota Sailing Squadron is hosting their Annual One Design Midwinter Regatta March 16th through March 18th for fleets of seven or more boats. Anticipated fleets include: RS Aero, E Scow, MC Scow, Viper 640, VX One, Windmill, Flying Scot and Windsurfers, with invitations to all One Design fleets with boats of seven or more. Sarasota Sailing Squadron offers some of the best sailing on Florida’s West Coast and we are happy to offer a venue for one design racing.

    The numbers stay the same, it’s the fleets that change a little bit. We have 103 competitors signed up, similar to last year. We have 42 Sport Boats (Viper 640 and VX One) who will stage by the hoist and in the basin. We have 14 E-Scows who will stage around the boat ramp. The other fleets, Windmills, Albacore, F-18s and RS Aero will be located in their historic spots and around the beach launching area. We have posted a parking map and fleet staging area on the event website under Race Documents. ...
