2018 SYC Classic Boat Invitational Regatta - Bear, Bird, Folkboat, SFBIOD and Knarr fleets. Fleet Race Dates: Knarr, SFBIOD, Folkboat, Bear: June 9th, August 18th, September 8th Bird: August 18th, September 8th The intended racing area will be in the West of Alcatraz area, alternatively courses may be set in the Knox area or the San Francisco city front. Courses will be windward/leeward courses set up using inflatable marks. Warning Gun will be at 1100 hrs Pacific time. Three races each day are scheduled for the Knarr, Folkboat, and SFBIOD fleets, two races each day are scheduled for the Bird and Bear Fleets. The low point scoring system RRS A4 shall be used. A minimum of one race shall be completed to constitute a series. No race shall be excluded. All races count. The event shall be open to yachts whose Owner and/or Skipper is a current member of their National Governing Body. Owners must meet all ownership and Class Association requirements.
