Ventura Yacht Club invites you to join us for the 2018 Lady Driver Race. At least one female crew must be onboard, and a female must be at the helm during the race (periodic short breaks are allowed but not during the start sequence, while rounding marks, or while finishing. Boats can have different lady drivers for different races and even in the same race. PHRF Area A random leg handicaps will be used. For boats without a valid handicap, the Race Committee will provide a temporary handicap for this series. Competitors are urged to register online prior to race day. Go to www.venturayachtclub.org and follow the link (Water>Racing>Regatta Network). It’s easy! Additional information, including Sailing Instructions will also be available there. The entry fee is $30 and can be paid online. Entry deadline is 0900 on race day. If a minimum of 3 entries are not received by Wednesday, October 17, and the PRO is not assured there will be 3 entries, this race will be canceled.
