BSC Junior Sailing Camp offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced/racing courses for kids looking to advance their sailing skills in Optimists, Lasers, and Club 420 sailboats. Sailing Camp is designed to allow sailors ages 8 to 17 to become acquainted with sailing and the basics of racing. Sailors will get hands on experience rigging, steering, maneuvering around docks and around a course, tying knots, and learning about weather and boating safety. Camp is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6. The cost for this 4 day camp covers lunch, use of club sailboats, instructors’ fees, and t-shirt. Priority will be given to family members of BSC members. Deadline for priority registration is April 30, 2019. Registration will open to non-members on May 1, 2019. Contact information for participants will be sent to all parents prior to camp in order to facilitate carpooling.
