INVITATION: SYSCO extends an invitation to all sailboat skippers to compete in this fun race on the Columbia River between the I-5 and I-205 bridges. DESCRIPTION: This is a single race held Tuesday, July 28. There will be two starts. The first start (Division #1) will be for all one-design fleets including Cal 20, Ranger 20, Venture 21, Catalina 22, Martin 24, J/24, Moore 24, Melges 24, and Merit 25. A second start (Division #2) will be for all PHRF, Level boats and all Cruising classes. All boats are encouraged to have buckets of water, short and long ranger soakers, water cannons, and other methods of water propulsion that allows for the soaking of competitors. The soaking of competitors can only begin after the starting gun. We encourage boats to invite new crew members who want to participate in SYSCO sailing.
