    At the post race pool party Saturday (thanks Kevin, Kathy, Walter and Beverly), several racers reported sighting an obstruction in the vicinity of the short course weather mark. The obstruction was described as stationary, appearing to be the remains of a dock or channel marker and potentially destructive to a boat that hit it. The RC will attempt to locate the obstruction before the first race today and, if possible, set courses that take the obstruction out of play. However, given the expected wind and available racing area, that may not be possible. Racers are cautioned to keep a sharp lookout for any obstructions while racing. ...
