The Texas Corinthian Yacht Club (TCYC) cordially invites you to the 2020 Round-Up Regatta on Galveston Bay.

  • TCYC WOULD LIKE TO REMIND COMPETITORS ABOUT RULE 4, DECISION TO RACE.

  • DUE TO COVID-19, THIS EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED AT THE LAST MINUTE.

  • The Official Notice Board, and all scores, will be posted on-line.

  • All CDC, The State of Texas, Chambers County and Galveston County guidelines / restrictions in effect will be strictly followed.

  • THE TCYC VENUE IS LAUNCH ONLY FOR OUTSIDE HOUSTON-AREA BOATS. RESERVATIONS TO LAUNCH MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE THROUGH THE ON-LINE REGISTRATION. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 30 BOATS. If you meet the "outside houston-area boats" criteria, please select "Non Houston Area Registration (launch from TCYC)" from the Registation drop down.

  • No local boats may launch from TCYC.

  • FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUEST FROM TCYC MAY RESULT IN A DSQ FOR ALL RACES SAILED.

  • The mandatory wearing of gators, buffs or masks at all times while on TCYC property and the TCYC pier, as well as respecting social distancing practices is greatly appreciated by the membership and staff of TCYC.

  • TCYC is limiting the visitors per team to one competitor and one support person.

  • Please bring your own hand sanitizer.

  • The TCYC clubhouse will be closed to non-members. No exceptions. 

  • Staggered launch times may be implemented. Social distancing measures will be enforced.

  • No weather delays.  We will monitor and evaluate the weather and will decide several hours prior to the warning signal whether or not to cancel racing for the day. 

  • No community water jugs will be provided on or off the water.  Please bring your own source of water. 

  • No food will be provided.

  • The TCYC pool will be closed to non-members.

  • It is critical to be mindful of how you feel, and particularly when ANY of the potential COVID-19 symptoms are present to stay home. 

    There will be no on-site registration and check-in.  Parents shall sign all forms, as well as the COVID-19 disclaimer, and electronically transmit with the entry form and fees before registration is completed.

    The decision to race will be made at 1000 August 1, 2020, and will be communicated through email to each competitor provided in the on-line registration. PLEASE use an email address that a parent or coach will monitor. Failure of not seeing this notice will not be grounds for redress or refund.
