28 August - Introduction to sailing right here on Lake Norman! REGISTER HERE---------------->   There will be some classroom instruction related to the basics of sailing and a chance to experience sailing of a variety of boats. Saturday is our main day - Sunday will be used if weather doesn't cooperate on Saturday. Click on NOR for information or See LNYC.ORG for a complete agenda & objectives. $50 fee per person. No children under 14 unless accompanied (in the class) by their parent. In no event will children under 12 be permitted.

 
If you have some sailing experience you may want to choose 'intermediate'

    Thank you for your interest in Discover Sailing! This session is now full, but there is a waitlist. If you register, your name will be added to it. If we have the ability to expand the session, you will be notified. Likewise, if we can't accommodate you in this session, we will contact you for the next session.

    Note that Lake Norman Yacht Club also offers a shorter introductory experience, called First Sail.  You can register for First Sail here.
