This fast paced handicapped long-distance race, originally organized by MPYC member Bruce Becker, requires competitors to start in the vicinity of the Monterey Mile Buoy, round MBARI “M1” and Moss Landing A (MLA) buoys to starboard and finish at MPYC-F buoy. The race is 33.9 nautical miles in length forming a large equilateral triangle in southeast Monterey Bay. All boats shall be crewed by no more than two persons.
