I think for the first time ever in Tornado Alley we are expecting the largest Tornado Regatta in North America in some time.   Hobie Class Racing will be a Hobie Points regatta per the Yacht club exception with enough qualified entry's.

 

 Registration to the event includes some food, some stuff to wear, and race committee support for the weekend... Free camping at the event site. Oh.. And Saturday night is "Cheeseburger in Perrydise" night featuring the Still Jamming Band LIVE. Bring your Parrothead gear for this one.

 

 Also during the regatta Red Gear Racing will be on hand to provide coaching opportunities and group discussions about racing skills and tactics. Red Gear Racing's own Robbie Daniel will be on the course with us throughout the weekend. 

 

Prior to this event there will be a four day Catamaran Racing Seminar provided by Red Gear Racing. This on and off water instruction will happen during the day starting 9am July 25th to the 28th. Plan on being out all day because lesson plans and activities often change to suit various wind and weather conditions, and the Red Gear team is simply incredible making sure you get the best experience from their expertise.
