Richmond YC Intraclub races are low-key and fun events for RYC members and the Alerion 28 fleet. To enter, boats must be at least 18 feet in overall length and have a current Northern California PHRF rating. Three separate races are scheduled on May 7, July 9 and August 13.
The race format is reverse-order pursuit style, using government and permanent YRA buoys, and sometimes islands, in the SF Bay as marks. Boats are assigned to and scored in one of 3 fleets: Alerion 28, Spinnaker, and Non-Spinnaker.
