About Event

Welcome to the 55th Annual Princess Pat Trophy Race weekend July 14-15, 2023 at Forest City Yacht Club. This year's event will feature Friday night Women's Fleet and the very popular Double Handed Jam Fleet then on Saturday, the Princess Pat Trophy Race for PHRF,  & JAM fleets. 

 
2.1. The regatta is open to all members of US SAILING, other National Governing Body, members of recognized yacht clubs, an Inter-Lake Yachting Association affiliated organization or members of recognized sailing associations, Cleveland Sailing Association or members of recognized sailing associations. 2.2. Women’s Division: Open to boats with all woman sailors. PHRF (spinnaker) fleet is offered. One male boat owner/designee may be on board but cannot assist in the helming or crewing of the boat and must remain centerline. A minimun of 5 boats must register for a fleet.  2.3. Double Handed JAM Division: Open to boats to be crewed by no more than 2 (two) people. A minimun of 5 boats must register for a fleet.  2.4. Trophy Race -- Races will be offered for PHRF (spinnaker) and JAM rated boats. The Race Committee Chairman, at its sole discretion, whose decision is final and without appeal, shall determine eligibility and placement within divisions for the Cruising Classes. PHRF=LE (Lake Erie) or PHRF-SS  (South Shore) ratings shall be used when available to determine handicaps for PHRF and JAM classes. 

If racing in events on both Friday and Saturday, Please designate your "Desired Class" for the Princess Pat Trophy Race (Saturday) only! Friday races are Double Handed or Women's classes only
