U.S. Multihull Championship on Hobie 16s : Hobie Cat Fleet 23
 

About Event

DCYC and Hobie Fleet 23 of Dallas are honored to host the 2024 US Multihull Championship to be sailed on Hobie Cat 16 catamarans. The US Multihull Championship was created in 1985 to determine a US National Multihull Champion, and is sailed annually on a various types of multihulls. The award was named the Hobie Alter Cup in honor of Hobie Alter Sr. and his extraordinary promotion of one design multihull sailing and racing. The Hobie 16 has been selected as the one-design boat for the 2024 USMHC. Hobie 16 Competitors are invited to attend the USMHC to compete for the Hobie Alter Cup. May provides excellent weather for a Spring regatta. Meet new friends, mingle with buddies, race a championship and enjoy the Hobie Way of Life. The evening festivities, and the Saturday night party, will bring us together for another Hobie regatta with cherished friends. Camping is permitted on the DCYC grounds. DCYC Clubhouse with toilets, showers and swimming pool. No restaurant or bar onsite, however guests may bring food and beverage, and most evening meals will be provided to competitors and included in registration.
