Richmond YC Intraclub races are low-key and fun events for RYC members and the Alerion 28 fleet. To enter, boats must be at least 18 feet in overall length and have a current Northern California PHRF rating. Three separate races are scheduled on May 11, July 20, August 24. The courses will use government and permanent YRA buoys, and sometimes islands, in the SF Bay as marks. Boats are assigned to one of 3 fleets: Alerion 28, Spinnaker, and Non-Spinnaker. The race format is time-on-time for the handicap divisions. Classes with 5 or more boats will get a one-design finish score.
