Santa Barbara Yacht Club and the Santa Barbara Sailing Club invites the following classes to the Goleta Beach Race: PHRF, CHRF and One design fleets. This year's Goleta Beach Race will be a downwind race starting at Goleta Beach and finishing at SBYC with an epic party on the beach afterwards. Due to an unfortunate scheduling error, the picnic area at Goleta Beach is not available on Saturday, August 24th and therefore, boats are encouraged to motor up to Goleta Beach for a short sprint upwind followed by an epic downwind race starting at 2:00pm. There will be a beach party with live music and BBQ for sale at SBYC. Come join us for an incredible downwind race and celebration of the last major event of the summer!
