Saturday brought us fantastic conditions, building some but nothing too much to handle. While there seems to be a clear leader in the Moore 24 and Santana 22 fleets, there will some close battles for 2nd and 3rd place. The tie in the J/24 fleet is also the same tie going into the season standings; a battle for some good rum is on the line today. And with no throw outs, our U-20 visitors from Utah have been steadily working away to make the last 3 races today fun to watch. Speaking of fun to watch, we have posted the drone footage on RYC’s Instagram. Give it a follow! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DO2c6nwk0HA/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== We are shooting for awards around 4pm today, weather permitting. Please take a break from packing up your boats to come to the main dining room. ...

Kickoff Day of the Fall One Design Invitational started with a Weather briefing from Quantum Sails' Will Paxton, which ended up being pretty spot on. You can listen to it again here. Wind started in the low teens from the West and built through the day with gusts touching the low 20s. The U-20s got to tour Alcatraz for their distance race, followed by the Santana 22 fleet getting out for a bunch of short practice races. Congratulations to Toon Town for kicking off the weekend with a win! Competitor's meeting is Saturday at 9:30am in the upstairs main dining room. Check-in is downstairs in the race room. This is where you pick up your beer tickets and wrist bands. Please: - bring your own Sailing Instructions. - leave your trailers in either the first parking area as you enter our lot or in our new "West Lot" on the lefthand side. Please move your cars into the parking area on the other side of the club and use our Mules to tow your boat to the hoist. ...
