2026 Flying Scot Midwinter Championship : Sarasota Sailing Squadron

About Event

Welcome! The 2026 Flying Scot Midwinter Championship returns to Sarasota Florida, Friday, March 6th through Sunday, March 8th. Check-in and measurement is Thursday, March 5th. This year we feature  post-race debriefs by Greg Fisher of Evolution Sails, morning "Words of Wisdom" by Brian Hayes of North Sails and, thanks to many sponsors and members of our FS family, a Flying Scot-oriented Silent Auction, to help support the Squadron's hurricane recovery.

The previous Midwinters in Sarasota have averaged 63 boats and another great turnout is expected. Sarasota is a jewel and the place to be during the winter! Downtown Sarasota, Longboat Key, St. Armand’s Circle, Siesta and Lido Beach offer all you can ask for: hotels in all price categories, restaurants, bars, beaches, and history.
