The Houston Yacht Club Mid-Winter Regatta is the first of our "Big Five" club regattas on Galveston Bay for 2012. Our initiative for this year is to have the same PRO manage each line for all 5 races, the goal being consistency of care race-to-race. Competitors will be presented with the same battle - 5 times over the course of the year on a playing field that is similar event to event. This provides the opportunity to test skills against long-time opponents in a familiar environment.
