The regatta is open to International Optimist Dinghies, skippered by girls 8 to 15 years of age at the time of the first race, and also Club 420's, Laser Radials, Laser 4.7’s, and Sunfish, skippered and crewed by girls who have not reached their 19th birthday, in the calendar year.
Opti fleets: First year racers sail Green Fleet, 10 year olds sail White Fleet, 11 and 12 year olds sail Blue Fleet and 13, 14 and 15 year olds compete in Red Fleet
