The regatta is open to all boats of the Optimist class (including wood, plastic and fiberglass hulls), Collegiate 420 (ie No spinnaker or trapeze) and Open Bic. They will race and be scored in 4 classes; 1) the Optimist Gold class will consist of Optimist sailors with 1.5 years or more of sailing experience, 2) all other Optimist sailors will sail in the Silver class, 3) a 420 class and 4) an Open Bic class.
