The Hood River Yacht Club welcomes sailors back to the gorge for the annual “Double Damned" race from Cascade Locks to The Dalles, Oregon. We are looking forward to this spectacular event's return!

    Hi all, While the forecast is looking challenging to complete the full course this year, we are still planning on racing. We will make a final call on one of the following options on Friday morning: Option 1 - standard course - take your time at the HR bridge for scoring if the full course is not completed within the time limit. (trailers positioned in The Dalles or Hood River) Option 2 - out to Mitchell Point and back. (trailers positioned in Cascade Locks) Option 3 - Hood River to Cascade Locks.
