About Event

CODA, in partnership with Hudson Yacht Club, organises a clinic for coaches (Friday through Sunday) and sailors of all level (Saturday and Sunday). CODA membership is mandatory. You will learn about the Optimist and specific drills, tuning and coaching Optis from Green Fleet to World Championships. Learn from experienced coaches and sailors in a positive and welcoming environment open to all!

    The registrations are open. Welcome to all CODA members. We are extremely happy to announce that the clinic will be run by two of the most experienced female sailing coaches in Canada: Carmen Denis and Tine Moberg-Parker. Mrs Denis is High Permormance Sailing Coach at the Club de voile Deux-Montagnes in Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac, Québec and ex-coach on the Canadian Sailing Team. She was also the force behind the creation of the sailing sport-study program, the only of its kind in Canada, at the École Secondaire du Chêne-Bleu. For her part, Mrs Moberg-Parker is High Performance Sailing Coach at the Kitsilano Yacht Club in Vancouver. She is an Olympian (1996, Atlanta GA, in the Europe event) and a long time organizer of CODA. ...
