Green Light
All races are proceeding as scheduled.
Racing is ON for the second day of the LHYC Spring Series Race for the Case. We had an exciting day with lots of changes in breeze and conditions for Day 1, getting two races in before end of racing for the day. The crews gathered at Centerport YC for an excellent spread and a lively discussion about the day's racing. Scores are up, and there are no less than three ties to be broken today:
- In Division 2, two Kings Point boats, Sabotage and Santana, are tied with 6 points each; and two Lloyd Harbor boats, Shakedown and Rift, are tied with 8 points each.
- In Division 3, two Lloyd Harbor boats, Dreadlocks and Double Vision, are tied with 4 points each.
So today is the day, and it seems it will be a difficult one with possibly even lighter breeze than we had on Day 1.
A big thanks to our visiting boats and especially our PROs and RC volunteers.
