Supplemental Sailing Instructions

Courses may be designated by listing OCSA marks.  When courses are listed by OCSA marks the first letter/number displayed is the starting mark.  The letter “S” may be used to designate the starting mark which will be a green inflatable mark.  The last letter/number displayed is the finishing mark.  The letter “F” may be used to designate the finishing mark which will be a yellow inflatable mark.  This amends OCSA General Sailing Instructions 8.1.  Please note that “S” is not to be confused with “(S)” with parentheses which denotes starboard roundings as described in OCSA General Sailing Instructions 8.5.
