Racing Rules Roundtable

This two-hour informal roundtable is intended to serve as an introduction for newer sailors and a refresher for seasoned veterans. It will focus on getting around the racecourse efficiently and fairly, using the racing rules to your advantage. It will discuss actual racing situations and will focus on what to do when boats meet.

A series of actual situations will be looked at and discussed, followed by an extensive Question and Answer session.
The roundtable will be led by TYC member John Siegel who races a Laser and a Moore 24 on the lake. He is a US Sailing Certified National Judge and Regional Race Officer. He is the Regional Administrative Judge for Area G (Northern California and Nevada) and serves on the YRA of SF Bay Appeals Committee.
