Green Light All races are proceeding as scheduled.
Hello everyone. This is your Sunday morning debrief post. I'm very glad the breeze came in and held as long as it did. Nice job sailing 5 races.
For Sunday, the first warning signal is at 10:30. The RC is aware of mushy forecast conditions. There is no change in the order of starts. There is no change in the courses sailed today, per each fleet.
There is a conflict between the NOR and the SI's regarding when the drop comes in. In consultation with the judges, and per rule 63.7, the protest committee has decided that the SI's shall prevail. The drop went in after the last race today.
The job of hosing off your own boat is now your job. There won't be shore-side volunteers operating the hoses after racing.
RC and Protest Committee Observations:
• per SI 16.2, every competitor shall sail by the signal boat and be recognized by be the RC to check in. Safety protocol.
• there is a minor discrepancy between I/I2, O/O2 IN TITLE ONLY. the diagrams are the same, regardless of the title. Inner and Outter. I and O.
• please familiarize yourself with the penalties of modified Appendix P and your obligations to comply. All Appendix P penalties are 2 turns.
• per rule 61.1(a) if you are fouled, and intend to protest, you must clearly say/hail the word "PROTEST" and nothing else.
Thank you very much and safe sailing.
