RRS 29.1 & Race Signals, Recall Signals is changed as follows:
Individual recall for the purposes of RRS 29.1 will be a SOLID ORANGE FLAG.
RRS 29.1. When at a boat’s starting signal any part of her hull is on the course side of the starting line or she must comply with rule 30.1, the race committee shall promptly display flag X A SOLID ORANGE FLAG with one sound. |

NoR 9.2 & NoR Amendment #2 are amended as follows:
Delete NoR Amendment #2 in its entirety.
NoR 9.2. The race time limit will be 72 hours after the start signal or 1000 on 14 May 2023, whichever is earliest.

NoR Amendment #1

Due to supply chain issues, the PNW Offshore committee has decided on the following rule change. Competitors with AIS transponders equipped shall use such equipment while racing. Competitors who do not currently have an AIS transponder equipped should endeavor to equip one prior to the event. No exception to this requirement will be made for the event in 2024.
Delete NoR Addendum A1 “3.9 AIS” and NoR Addendum A2 “3.9 AIS”.

3.9 AIS
|
All boats shall have an AIS Transponder, sharing a masthead VHF antenna via a low loss AIS antenna splitter. An acceptable alternative is a dedicated AIS antenna that is a minimum of 0.9 meters long, mounted with its base at least 3 meters above the water, and fed with coax that has a maximum 40% power loss.
