NOSA Communications to the Yachting Community
On Course to 80 Years of Racing
When a confluence of two rivers occurs, it creates a larger, more vital river. In that same spirit, NOSA’s “Back to Its Roots” decision to return Race Headquarters, celebrations, and trophy presentations to downtown Ensenada creates renewed energy and expanded opportunity for the Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race (N2E). This evolution honors tradition while opening the door to a more vibrant, accessible, and celebratory experience for racers, crews, and the broader sailing community.
Clarifying Our Marina & Hospitality Partnerships
It is important to address this clearly and directly, this move does not reflect any change in NOSA’s long-standing and valued relationship with the Hotel Coral & Marina.
Hotel Coral & Marina remains a key partner for N2E participants and continues to offer:
- NOSA discounted hotel rates
- Slip availability for race participants
- A proven marina environment familiar to returning racers
The Director General of the Coral, in his capacity as President of ProTurismo Ensenada, has been fully supportive and actively engaged in NOSA’s return to downtown. NOSA values this partnership and will continue working collaboratively with the Coral as part of the overall N2E experience.
It is also important to note, there will be no change to the race course or the finish line for the 2026 Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race.
