Welcome to the 2019 "Cheeseburger in Paradise" Regatta hosted by the Lake George Club in Diamond Point, NY! Wednesday, July 24 through Friday, July 26, 2019 The Junior Sailors of The Lake George Club cordially invite junior sailors from neighboring clubs to participate in the 2019 Cheeseburger Regatta. This annual regatta, on picturesque Lake George, the "Queen of American Lakes "- in the southern Adirondack Mountains of New York State alternates between The Lake George Club (odd years) and the Northern Lake George Club (even years). It features racing in single-handed Optimist and double­ handed Flying Junior Dinghies, and has great hospitality, a beautiful setting, lots of competitive racing, and usually favorable winds. ------------------------ ***If you need to request housing, please follow the instructions on the "Housing Request" form under the "Race Documents" tab and get those requests in as soon as possible!***------------------------------------------------- ***From May to October, all trailered boats launched into Lake George have to be inspected. This summer, you can have your boats checked for free at any of these 7 regional locations: Town of Lake George: Transfer Road, Lake George Million Dollar Beach Launch: 139 Beach Road, Lake George Dunham’s Bay Dock & Launch: 2036 Bay Road, Queensbury Hulettes Landing Marina: 6068 Lakeside Way, Huletts Landing Norowal Marina: 21 Sagamore Road, Bolton Landing Mossy Point Public Boat Launch: 158 Black Point Road, Ticonderoga Rogers Rock Public Campground: 9894 Lakeshore Drive, Hague You will need proof of inspection to launch your boats*** The Lake George Club, 4000 Lake Shore Drive, Diamond Point, New York, 12824 (518) 668-5734
