Racing for the 470 North American Championship, January 10-12, 2020, will now take place on the ocean east of Cape Florida at the south end of Key Biscayne. There will be a back-up race circle on the Bay in the event conditions make ocean racing inadvisable.

To address this racing venue change, the previously posted Bay Event NOR has been totally rescinded, and a new NOR dated November 9, 2019 has been posted in its place.

This sailing venue change was requested by the Class in view of the ocean venue for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Qualified 470’s are encouraged to enter the North Americans, and we at Coconut Grove Sailing Club look forward to seeing you on our race course.
