Clinton Lake Sailing Association and Fleet 135 are once again excited to host the Glow Regatta at Clinton Lake. If you haven't been to the Glow recently, you have certainly heard about the exceptional racing, food, and fun atmosphere. Online registration and online payment are required in advance of the event. The all-inclusive registration fee includes the boat registration fee, food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the skipper and crew, and multiple clinics for early arrivers. In order to sail in this regatta, a visiting skipper must be a member of the Flying Scot Sailing Association.   

 

All boats will start together, but racers will choose to compete in a Championship, Challenger, or Apprentice division. We will awared trophies 5 deep for skipper and crew in the Championship Fleet and 3 deep in the Challenger Fleet, plus a trophy for the winner of the Apprentice Divison.  

 

Wednesday Night Racing Clinic - 6pm warning signal.

 

Thursday turning clinic - 6pm.  

 

Friday Clinic - 10:30am - 4pm.  Start in pavilion.  

 

Friday Potluck featuring Frank's Brats - 5:30pm.  

 

Saturday October 1

8 am Donuts and coffee at the pavilion

9:15 am Competitors’ meeting

11 am First warning signal. Second and third races to follow.

6:00 pm Dinner at the pavilion (steak dinner)

Sunday October 2            

7-8 am Hot Breakfast at the pavilion

8:30am Competitors’ meeting in pavilion

9:45am Warning signal for fourth race. Fifth race to follow. No races started after 12:00pm.

1 pm Awards ceremony
