The 2023 Race Registration Portal includes registration options for all MPYC One Design (Shields and Santana 22 classes) and all MPYC PHRF Championship races as well as the Sunset Series and MPYC Specialty Races (e.g. Lefler Race, MPYC Long-distance Single Handed and Double Handed races, the Commodores' Regatta, the Ladies Day and Jack and Jill races and the Fiasco Race). By registering through this Portal, all registrants will automatically be entered into the relevant 2023 regattas and races. Please note the following: - Members who DO NOT plan to participate in One Design and/or PHRF Championship races, or the Sunset Series, but ONLY plan to participate in one or more of the Specialty Races, should register and pay the one-time $100 Specialty race fee to participate in all the Specialty races. Single entries would cost $35 per event, and registration should be done through the specific race registration portal. - The MPYC One Design and PHRF registration option includes all Shields/Santana 22 One Design races and PHRF Championship races but also doesn't include MBYRA race series fees. All Shields/Santana 22 boats must have a valid PHRF certificate in order to race in PHRF Championship series races. - The MBYRA Championship Races include the Around Monterey Bay Race, Double Angle Race, Otter Cup Invitational Race, Fire Cracker Race and Little Little Boreas Race. These five races will be co-managed by the three Monterey Bay Yacht Clubs, EYC, MPYC and SCYC and will have separate registrations, liability waivers, NORs, SIs, SERs and fees.
