Canandaigua Yacht Club and Sunfish Fleet 614 welcomes you to the 2023 Upstate Regional, World Qualifying Regatta! Our lake view clubhouse features every possible amenity including a full bar, restaurant, and friendly staff. The CYC grounds include a large, open campsite and an abundance of parking for autos and trailers. The general schedule includes a practice race on Friday and Regional Championship races on Saturday and Sunday. Registration fees include dinner on both Friday and Saturday nights inside the CYC clubhouse, prepared by CYC's own, in house, award-winning chef. The Village of Canandaigua sits at the north end of the lake, less than 2 miles from CYC. It offers a wide variety of restaurants, shops, breweries, hotels, B & Bs, wine tasting, etc. So for those of you who are slightly more adventurous, we encourage you to come early, stay late, and enjoy all of the great things that Canandaigua, also known as "The Chosen Place" has to offer. Canandaigua Lake typically has beautiful late-spring weather. The water however, may still be cool. Please be prepared by including your favorite booties, wetsuits, fleeces and spray tops in your gear bag just in case. Lastly, don't forget your water bottle as we are pleased to announce that this regatta is officially a "Sailors for the Sea" event! (www.sailorsforthesea.org)
