This Camp is offered at LLSC to encourage beginner, intermediats, and advanced sailor to get their sailing season started with a 5.5 day camp that focuses on fun, safety and the basics of sailing including racing skills. Intermediate and Advanced sailors will be separated and focus on more technical skills such as upwind, downwind, beginner starting and racing skills including team racing.

 

**Minimum of 12 hours of volunteer time is required for each registrant as well.**

Optimist Sailboat class - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced - ages 7 till 15 Bring your own boat

* limited number of charter boats available for Optimist*

 

420 Sailboat class - Beginner and intermediate - ages 11 till 16 Boats provided 

 

Laser Sailboat class - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced - ages 13-17 Boats provided 

 

Bring your water bottle, life jacket, water shoes, towel and change of clothes.

Campers must be able to pass a swim check.

 

3 meals a day + 1 snack are provided.  Parents must contribute 1 day of volunteer work per child or pay an additional fee.
