2021 J22 World Championship : Corpus Christi Yacht Club

About Event

You are cordially invited to the 2021 J22 World Championship hosted by the Corpus Christi Yacht Club to be held from July 17th to July 23rd 2021 in Corpus Christi, TX.

Corpus Christi Yacht Club has a rich history of running world class regattas. We have great wind, a short distance from dock to race circle, easy access, and South Texas hospitality. Our PRO, Mark Foster, is a past J22 World Champion and three-time winner of the St. Petersburg Trophy for race management. We may be a little harder to get to, but we'll make it worth your while!

Our yacht club is downtown with plenty of hotels within walking distance (but in July maybe you'll want a car anyway). We've put together a supplemental site with local information located here. We'll add to it as we get more questions.

We hope you enjoy your time here and we look forward to hosting y’all!

Mark We are so looking forward to the regatta this summer. We have a new fleet here in the Kansas City area (about 15 boats) and we're working to get a few more to come down. Going to be a great event. My kids (3) and I are planning on sailing together, however I have two daughters (15 and 17) that would like to sail, however all four of us on the boat will put us well over the weight limit. My Ask I would like to request permission to rotate my daughters during the regatta. Right now they are within 5 pounds of each other so crew weight changes shouldn't be a major problem. I have put them on a daily schedulet.  Paige: Tuesday/ Thursday  Olivia: Wednesday/Friday Ted Lischer Leawood, Kansas O: 913.732.3920 M: 816.803.3920 Hi Ted Glad to see your daughters wanting to get involved.
